Late afternoon walk at Alexandra Colliery has its rewards. The origins of this brick is to be found in the brickworks at Ruabon, Wrexham. Found a few of these bricks in different areas of Ravenhead but never found more than one together. A map I have of the area dated to 1906 indicates that there was plenty buildings that once stood in the area. Earlier to this, there was a canal cited on other maps but had been filled in.
