Quick visit to the Roughdales brickworks land in Sutton, St. Helens. It was quite sodden underfoot and so I gauged it could be hazardous for walking as I could have a fall going over on all the small loose bricks. Still lots of bricks but could only find a few with brick marks on them. Commonly, there is a few Dykehead bricks (Scottish) still around. Easy to see these bricks as they are quite buff yellow coloured.
