Silverdale Tile found in Eccleston, St Helens.
11/07/2022
Photographed this Silverdale Tile fragment at Holmes Farm, Eccleston, St Helens. There was a pile of brick debris from which I could see the tile clearly. There was also a smaller fragment that can be seen in the right hand corner of the photograph. The origins of the tile is located in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire. The BCM stands for British Commercial Monomarks that provided a London address for the brick/tile makers.
