AGKC (Andrew George Kurtz and Co) Brick.
This AGKC Double Bullnose Capping Brick was spotted in West Park, St Helens.
Although this brickmark is faint, I have found others like this at Alexandra Colliery and so I recognised it straight away. This is a very old brick and the AGKC stands for Andrew George Kurtz and Co who were chemical manufacturers and brick makers based in Sutton, St Helens, Lancashire. 1842 - 1920.
