Found this partial tile on Crosby Beach and found that it originates from Hindley Green Wigan. Further googles information reveals that is was made by Edward Johnson, a coal proprietor and brick maker, from Swan Lane Colliery, Hindley Green, Wigan, Lancashire.. The colliery had closed by 1927.
