This is a Welsh refractory brick that originated from Buckley North Wales. It was found in Parr, St Helens close to where there was heavy smelting industries. This a rare brick that is far away from its home in Wales. I have checked the Museum of Wales website and there is no photos of this type of brick with a brickmark.
