Giscol Brick
Out for a walk today and travelled along a wild farmland path from Siding Lane, Rainford. Eventually found myself on the Coach Road on the Bickerstaffe West Lancashire boundary. Bit of an exploration in the undergrowth before I found a Giscol brick. This is a Scottish brick. Giscol (was registered as a company in 1888) under the trading name of the Glasgow Iron & Steel Company Limited. The company is situated in West Central Scotland.
