Lancashire Bricks.
Ackers Whitley Brick.
Ackers Whitley bricks were made in Leigh Lancashire. This brick was found near Elm Road in Thatto Heath, St Helens.
Just one brick on its own and there was no evidence of any old buildings that are in the vicinity of where is could have come from. Have found one of these before in Ravenhead on the Burtonhead Road area close to where the Ravenhead Colliery used to be.
