This partial half bat brick has the brick mark of RPB Lathom. I spotted the brick the day before when walking on the old Ravenhead landfill site but decided to leave it for today when I had my brick kit with with me (Brick Hammer and brushes). An easy dig in clearing the ground the brick initially looked like a brick tombstone sat in the ground, Took the photograph then researched the brick mark which is the owner of the Lathom Brick Company: Ronald Peter Barker. The brick has been left in its original marker so that others can find this little heritage gem.
